Who is Andy MacDonald

The author of this blog. I’m a staff writer at BloggingTips, SiteProNews, GoArticles, Article99, and a guest blogger at SEOptimise, PiggyBankPie, BlahBlahTech, Daily Writing Tips and a number of other popular blogs.

I’m a 22 year old disabled guy from Plymouth, United Kingdom. I have a problem called Rickets, which in short terms means my bones are soft, I’m unable to walk and in constant pain. I’m currently in the process of having 23 operations to correct my problem which hopefully will enable me to walk for myself again. These operations include breaking my legs, replacement of my hips, knees and ankles, and finally straitening my spine with 2 metal rods.

Those operations will take anything up to 15 years to complete in full. The picture to the right is one of the operations in which my bone was broken in multiple places and a metal ’spatial frame’ was attached to my leg for 18 months holding the bones in the correct positions.

The reason I got into computers and ultimately this blog was because it fills my day whilst I’m at home and is genuinely something I’m interested in. Besides working on my blog, I also own website & search engine marketing company, Swift Media UK. I’ve been creating websites & web content on a wide variety of topics for more than twelve years. I also have ten years experience with search engine optimization and marketing

I write on this topic because it’s a passion of mine. I’m also interested in web design, music, driving, business, and a little too crazy about gadgets.
